🛡️ Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 22, 2026

ROTOR RESCUE is a single-player video game developed by Luke Garrison and sold/operated by The Spiritual Seek - Personality Test, Milan (Milano), Italy. This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled when you use the Android or iOS app, make or restore a Stripe purchase, visit the associated web pages, or contact support.

1. Data Controller

For personal data processed in connection with the sale, payment verification, purchase restoration, support, and operation of ROTOR RESCUE, the seller/operator is:

Luke Garrison is the developer of ROTOR RESCUE.

2. Game Progress Stored on Your Device

ROTOR RESCUE does not require an account to play. Normal gameplay information such as scores, unlocked levels, achievements, settings, total play time, and local entitlement state (for example, a permanent-unlock flag or cached Flight Pass status and expiration information) is stored locally by the application's web technology, including browser/WebView local storage.

This local game-progress data is not intentionally transmitted to us during ordinary gameplay. It may be shared with us only if you choose to provide it when requesting technical support or if you expressly use a feature that requires server communication, such as purchase verification or World Leaderboard submission.

3. World Leaderboard Data

If you choose to submit a Superscore to the World Leaderboard, the game sends the nickname you enter, the Country you select, your Superscore and its scored-component/cheat classification, your locally recorded total play time, and ordinary technical information needed to operate the submission. The leaderboard server derives a general operating-system label from the browser/WebView user agent and records the submission date.

The public leaderboard displays the submitted nickname, selected Country, operating-system label, total play time, Superscore, submission date, and leaderboard class. It does not publish your IP address. The server processes connection information, including IP address and user-agent/language data, to enforce the submission cooldown and protect the leaderboard against abuse.

4. Purchase and Entitlement Data

When you purchase, upgrade, verify, or restore a paid mobile entitlement through the integrated Stripe system, personal and transaction data is necessarily processed to complete, verify, secure, and restore the relevant purchase or entitlement.

Depending on the transaction, this may include:

We do not directly receive or store your complete payment-card number or card security code. Card and payment-method details are entered into and processed by Stripe and the relevant banks/payment providers.

5. Stripe

ROTOR RESCUE uses Stripe to process the mobile Flight Pass, permanent Full Campaign purchase, and eligible Flight-Pass-to-Full-Campaign upgrade. Stripe may process personal data such as contact information, transaction information, payment-method information, device or connection data, fraud-prevention signals, and other data necessary to operate its services.

Stripe may also use cookies or similar technologies on Stripe-hosted Checkout or related payment pages for security, authentication, fraud prevention, service operation, and other purposes described in Stripe's own privacy materials.

For more information, review Stripe's Privacy Policy and Privacy Center.

6. Why We Process Personal Data

Purchase-related and support-related personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

Depending on the purpose, processing may be necessary to perform the purchase contract, comply with legal obligations, or pursue legitimate interests such as fraud prevention, security, support, and protection of the service, subject to applicable data-protection law.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

ROTOR RESCUE does not intentionally use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. For the integrated mobile purchase flow, the payment backend sets a strictly necessary first-party security cookie named rr_checkout_v1. It contains a random browser-binding value, is marked Secure and HttpOnly, and is used only to verify that a completed Stripe Checkout returns to the same browser/WebView that initiated it. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or behavioural tracking.

Third-party payment pages such as Stripe Checkout may separately use cookies or similar technologies as described in Stripe's own privacy and cookie disclosures.

8. Advertising and Analytics

ROTOR RESCUE does not intentionally embed third-party advertising networks or general-purpose behavioural advertising trackers in the game. Stripe may independently process transaction and technical data for payment operation, fraud prevention, authentication, security, and service analytics as described in Stripe's privacy materials.

9. Support Data

If you contact us through the support page, we process the information you voluntarily submit in order to respond to your request. For purchase or refund issues, we may ask for information reasonably necessary to locate and verify the transaction and diagnose the reported problem.

10. Data Sharing

Personal data may be disclosed only where reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to:

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.

11. Data Retention

Local gameplay data remains on your device until it is cleared, overwritten, removed by the app/device, or otherwise deleted.

Leaderboard submissions are retained as public score records for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the leaderboard, subject to leaderboard limits, maintenance, or deletion where appropriate. Connection-derived cooldown data is retained only as needed to enforce the submission interval and prevent abuse.

Purchase, payment-verification, support, accounting, fraud-prevention, and related records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy and for any period required by applicable legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, or compliance obligations.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect purchase and entitlement information. Payment-card data is handled through Stripe rather than being stored directly in the ROTOR RESCUE game code. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should also protect access to their device, email account, and payment credentials.

13. International Processing

Some service providers, including payment and infrastructure providers, may process personal data in countries other than the country where you are located. Where required, such transfers are subject to the safeguards and legal mechanisms applicable to the provider and the processing concerned. Stripe provides additional information about its international data practices in its privacy materials.

14. Children's Privacy

ROTOR RESCUE is designed as an entertainment game and does not require account registration. Purchases by minors must be made or authorized by a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law. We do not intentionally use the game to solicit personal data from children for advertising or profiling.

If you believe a child has submitted personal data inappropriately, please contact us through the support page so the matter can be reviewed.

15. Your Data-Protection Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal data, including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.

Requests relating to data controlled by The Spiritual Seek - Personality Test can be submitted through the support page. Requests concerning data controlled independently by Stripe should be directed to Stripe using its privacy channels.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, payment, security, or product changes. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
